Ahem. Well, it's been a while. Shh.

It seems the News is getting a bit of a makeover. I'm curious as to what everyone thinks of it, and if there is any way we can offer it in more organized, convenient bits for your consumption. If you're familiar with the blogging world, you may have often seen blogs post regular collections of links to interesting news or other blog posts. Or you may have heard of 'carnivals', which summarize the blog world on a particular topic over a period of time. An example of this would be Scientiæ Carnival #1 or The Tangled Bank.

What I want to know is, would a similar format be appropriate for the *roundUP? Would a daily or weekly journal post linking to or summarizing news help us find articles that interest us through the mess, or keep interest up in the news without having to go through it constantly or risk missing something?

What follows is a short roundUP of some of the more recent news posts, many of them showing what we can do with this 'new' news system. I'm considering doing a journal post similar to this daily, every few days, or weekly, hilighting news articles that are interesting, informative, funny, or generally wonderful. I'm curious about what you guys think.
